Linear and Dart overview
Dart's importer works with Linear, letting you take all your Linear issues into Dart without any fuss.
What is Linear?
Linear is a productivity tool for managing issues, sprints, and product roadmaps. It's primarily focused on software development teams and related roles. It's known for its issue tracking capabilities which can be linked with Github. Linear is built around speed and simplicity, with a more prescriptive take on project management features and issue properties that its users will utilize. It's compatible with a variety of devices and browsers so it can be used on the go, although it's most commonly used through the desktop application.
Dart Linear importer setup
To use the Dart Linear importer go to the Import page in settings and choose Linear as the source. Then follow the instructions:
- Log in to Linear
- Click your profile picture in the top left, then select 'Settings'
- Select 'Import / Export'
- Click 'Export CSV'
- Open your email, find the email from Linear with the subject 'Your Linear export is ready', then click 'Download'
- Upload the CSV file in the designated area

To let Dart work on your tasks for you, simply create a task and then assign it to your Dart AI teammate. Dart AI is proficient with writing and design tasks and we are quickly adding more capabilities.
You can upgrade to access additional AI features and other improvements by simply going to Settings and then navigating to Plans and billing. Then just click upgrade to take full advantage of Dart’s capabilities.
Dart is great for both individual and team use cases. Solo users can keep a handy to-do list with various AI enhancements. Teams can enjoy a fully-featured project management platform developed by and for growing companies.
There are a variety of ways in which Dart improves your project management with AI. It helps with planning tasks based on high level requirements, creating and filling out tasks and subtasks with all their properties, and Dart AI can even do some simple tasks for you!
