Notion and Dart overview
Dart has a convenient and strong integration with Notion that allows you to bring your workspace into one. Now you can combine your Dart tasks with Notion docs to see all the relevant info at a glance. With the Notion integration you can embed notion project specs, meeting notes, and other docs directly within Dart descriptions.
What is Notion?
Notion is a comprehensive workspace platform that combines note-taking, task management, databases, and project management into a single, unified tool. Thus it competes with other products such as Clickup and Monday.com that are aiming to provide a single application for all workspace productivity needs. Launched in 2016, it has gained popularity among individuals and teams looking for flexible ways to organize their work and personal tasks and goals. Notion has a highly customizable blank slate sandbox which allows users to create and manage a wide variety of content types, including text, images, links, and more.
Dart Notion integration setup
To set up the integration first go the Notion integration page in settings and click the button labelled 'Link Dart and Notion'. Then confirm to provide access through the resulting windows.
After Notion is connected with Dart, you will be able to link any Dart task to a document in Notion. To do this copy the link to the Notion doc and then open the task up. Click on the '...' menu and choose 'Connect a task, doc, and more' and then 'Connect a Notion page'. Once you paste in the link, the document will be fully visible directly inside of the task.
